| First Review: The
websites all say 24x42 but my scope says 24x44, So let's call it that. This
scope has great optics, just not quite as good as the Bushnell Elite 4200.
It is the lightest and shortest scope with quality optics and mechanics I
could find, with comparable magnification. This scope is intended for Target
Shooting, with Very Fine crosshairs with an advertised 1/2"MOA Dot. The dot
is the exact size of a .177 pellet hole at 50yds. This reticule allows the
most possibly unobstructed view of the target. I love it for what I do:
punching paper at long range. The clicks are precise and repeatable at 1/8"
MOA per click, another factor that enticed my interest in this scope. I like
1/8"MOA clicks to get the pellet in the exact center of the bull's-eye.
Bushnell Elite calls their clicks 1/8" MOA but really are closer to 1/6"MOA.
I really like the SII 24x44 clicks, they are perfect. The eye relief is very
long, put pretty sensitive to position. It can handle all the recoil my RWS
54 can dish out. That means it is indestructible, as far as I'm concerned.
It can focus perfectly at 11yds with it's 720degree Adjustable Objective.
This scope is great, for Target or Bench shooting. I paid $289.
