Very Good
The Leapers Stealth Rubber Armored 3-9x40 Mil Dot IR scope is a very hardy
scope. I have had it on my Gamo Shadow 1000 for 10 months now with an
Accushot Medium Profile One Piece mount, many speculated since it was not
actually a TS model, it would not hold up. Almost 3000 shots later, through
all sorts of rugged Colorado terrain, extreme temps all the way from -3 to
105 it has performed flawlessly and is still going strong. The image is very
clear, it has a sleek look and nice sized mil dots for all shooting
applications. It has an Emerald lens coating to enhance light and clarity.
The adjustment knobs are a little taught to turn, as well as they are seated
low in the scope, probably to keep the low profile Stealth look. It would do
better with an AO feature, but it is very nice as it is now, and a very good
scope for the money($63) found at Pyramydair.com. The only downside besides
the knobs is the weight, it is heavy for a scope, around 23oz, almost
1.25lbs. It also comes with flip caps installed, also a very nice and handy
feature. If you're looking for a tough, durable scope on a budget, this is
the scope for you.
Thanks.
