| First Review: Leapers
SCP3-832AOMD 8- 32 x 56, rating heavy, 1/8 in. moa, side wheel focus down to
10 yards.
I rate this a Very Good scope optics are clear and bright. ( better than my
swift 8 x 32 x 50 ) Comes with sun shade and flip up covers. Locking target
turrets. My first mil dot scope, I'm very pleased.

Leapers 8-32x56 Full Size AO Mil-Dot Scope - King of SWAT
Recoil Rating: heavy
MOA: 1/8
Min focus: 10 yards
Review: good
The focus is not particularly crisp. It does not compare with, say, the
Bushy Elite 4200 with the same power. Much more attention needs to be paid
to getting the reticule and image in focus. Longer ranges (50 yds plus) are
not precise, and one needs to find the "best" focus.
That being said, adjustments are easy, reliable and repeatable. Scope is
very bright, but requires something to keep light from entering the
eyepiece.
elevation and windage adjustments are not particularly positive. With
earplugs in, it's difficult to notice the "clicks" other than by looking at
the scale on the knob.
For the price, this is an EXCELLENT scope. Especially on a good quality
springer. For a high quality PCP, I would look for something that was more
precise, but for a springer I think this is hard to beat for the money.
This review is based on very little time with the scope. I don't know know
how durable it will turn out to be. I'm relying on the manufacturer's
ratings for recoil etc.
