Chinese XS-B20 Review

I bought a B20 .177 from Pellet Trap in
Houston. It arrived and I took it out of the box and immediately started
shooting it. The velocity ranged from 200fps to over 900fps. It didn't
have enough go at 200fps to penetrate the shipping container. The front
sight broke off, the scope I put on the thing couldn't be shimmed
enough to get it on paper at 10yds. The recoil pad lost a screw. I
called Pellet Trap and they took the rifle back without a hassle and
sent me another one. This took less than 5 working days.
I took the replacement rifle over to Ron Juneau, of the Baton Rouge Bayou Airgunners, and we disassembled it, cleaned it up, and reassembled it. We put some of Maccarri's tar on the spring because it was dry. Disassembled the trigger, lubed and reassembled it. Chronoed it and it shoots between 800 and 805fps. Several weeks later I chronoed it again, 800 to 805 fps. The gun appears to be accurate. It is harder to cock than my TX200. Nothing has fallen off of it. Would I buy another B20? I think so. The first rifle was a Lemon. The dealer made it right with no problems. I'm satisfied with it.
