HOME Todd And Roberts Rabbit Hunt
March 10th 2006

Todd called me up about a week ago wanting to come down and do some Jack Rabbit hunting. That's always a great idea to me. We set it up for Friday at 11:00a.m. We met at the range and did some shooting on a couple rabbit field targets set out at 20 and 40 yards and we were ready to go. I found a new spot the other day, but hadn't had a chance to check it out very good. It turned out awesome! There were lot's of Jack Rabbits in that area, but boy was it windy! Wind gusts were about 25-30 at least.  Usually you see lot's of cotton tails and just a few jack rabbits, but we saw mostly jack rabbits. Todd made one shot that was awesome. It was 70yards measured with a laser range finder and he dropped it in one shot. It was downhill too :) Nice job Todd. The total for today for just a few hours was 18.
