Mark Bolson and Albert Reeves brought down their FX Gladiators to try their skills on some West Texas Rabbits. They arrived around 4:30p.m. on Friday evening and we went out to hunt with about 1 hour of daylight left. We ended up breaking out the spotlights and kept going till late in the evening. Saturday, we found the truck had a flat (darn those Mesquite needles). So Saturday, we ended up getting to hunt at around 4:30p.m. again until late in the evening. Sunday's weather turned cold and very windy, and there were no rabbit's in sight, but one. It's not there anymore :) During their visit, we saw two Deer, several large Owls, several Hawks, and of course, lot's of rabbits. We had a great time, and I enjoyed taking them hunting. |
